Let it snow

Well, we have chance of snow tomorrow. I’m sure the grocery stores are covered up tonight! The forecast for tomorrow states “Thursday Breezy at times. Showers through the day. A chance of snow in the afternoon. Snow accumulation up to 1 inch. Highs around 42. Northwest winds 10 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation 90 percent.”

Now I’ll believe that we’ll get an accumulation of up to one inch tomorrow. Not. It’s been over 60 degrees for the last 2 days. There’s no way its going to do anything other than fall and melt, if it snows at all.

We’ve gotten

a dusting of snow here at the house. There’s a good bit of rain south of Birmingham proper, but we’re not going to see anything measurable.

Its actually snowing now. I can see the snowflakes through the window. We still aren’t going to to have an accumulation, but we have snow!

And its time to wait until the cold actually arrives.

Snow?

Life has been racing along, here.

Those of you up north, don’t laugh too hard, but it looks like we may be getting some snow tomorrow night. They’re forecasting the possibility of some to up to 2 inches of snow here in Alabama. We haven’t had an appreciable snowfall here in years. We had snow flurries and sleet here yesterday. Now they think we may get up to 2 inches. I’ll believe it when I see it. I’ll even post pictures if it happens.
