Well, I’m bruised and sore, but those bruises are turning from maroon to green and yellow. The bike has been seen by the insurance adjuster and one local motorcycle shop to get estimates on how much the bill will be. Some of the local shops seem to think that since DH keeps the bike nice and shiny, he must be a lovely mark for them. The Ural is a nice bike, but not near the price of a new Harley. I’m sure that the shop that DH has chosen will do a good job replacing the front forks. They just seem to want to overestimate the labor on repairing the sidecar. It should be interesting to see what the auto body shops think it will take to repair the hack.
